Quote: “Injured clients need results, not excuses.”

William West Seegmiller is the founder of one of Southern California’s most distinguished personal injury law firms. More than 30 years ago, Seegmiller began his practice because he wanted to help people who like himself had been injured in an accident.

Reputation for Doing the Right Thing:

West Seegmiller earned a stellar reputation for being a straight shooter and a zealous advocate for his injured clients. As founder of the West Seegmiller Law Firm, Mr. Seegmiller fights vigorously as he does his best to settle cases and win verdicts for each and every individual and family he represents.

Compassion for Victims

Mr. Seegmiller knows first-hand what it is like to suffer serious injuries in a traffic accident. As a young man in his 20s, Seegmiller was in a motorcycle accident and underwent painful treatments to recover from his injuries. Indeed, he knows how important it is to treat his injured clients with first-class service.

Mr. Seegmiller is proud of the fact that he has handled thousands of cases resulting in verdicts and settlements of more than One Hundred Fifty Million Dollars ($150,000,000). Mr. Seegmiller has the experience and the confidence to stand up to the most powerful insurance companies, trucking companies, and government agencies. A warrior committed to the fight, he will not back down until his clients receive the justice they deserve from those responsible for their painful injuries.

Education

Mr. Seegmiller earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science at the University of California Davis and his master’s degree from the University of Southern California. Additionally, Mr. Seegmiller earned his Juris Doctorate from the McGeorge School of Law University of the Pacific in Sacramento, where he was selected to compete in the highly competitive Traynor National Moot Court Team and was a member of the prestigious Pacific Law Review.

Since establishing his own firm in 1981, Mr. Seegmiller continues to educate himself and expand his knowledge in the legal field. He has refined his skills in the practice by attending both the Harvard Law School Program of Instruction for Lawyers, as well as, The Jerry Spence Trial Lawyers College.

A Passion for Serving the Community

Mr. Seegmiller knows the importance of giving back to the community.  An Eagle Scout, who is still actively involved with the Boy Scouts of America, Mr. Seegmiller participates in a large number of charitable organizations. He is especially proud of his involvement in helping victims of the 9/11 disaster in 2001 as a member of the Trail Lawyers Care organization. Mr. Seegmiller was one of 1,100 attorneys nationwide to take part in its 9/11 Victims Federal Relief Fund, the largest pro bono project in the United State’s legal history. The program assisted 1,700 families of victims affected by the September 11, 2001 tragedy by providing an estimated $200 million in legal services at no charge.

He has also traveled to northern Mexico with his family to build homes for indigent families as a volunteer for the non-profit organization Corazon.
